I would like to say thank you for two things:
First: for accepting my membership.
Second: for providing me with the most awesome evening thus far that I have had on the internet in quite some time.
When I first encountered this site, I read only that it was a project determined to take up where the Firefly series left off. It was only last night when I took a few moments to clearly read the directions and found the completed scripts for the first time.
I was litertally blown away.
My introduction to the series came when my co-author read a first draft of Adkinson's Risk. He said that before I continued, I should watch the Firefly series. This was about a year and a half ago, and until then I had not seen the series, save for channel surfing one day and encountering the scene where they were playing hoop ball in the cargo hold. I had no idea what I was seeing and surfed straight on through.
Raymond loaned me his disks and I was hooked.
And dismayed, for they had canceled what I considered to be the greatest TV series of all time.
Imagine my joy when I found myself reading truly excellent, fan-made scripts that to me fit perfectly with the series.
And this was AFTER I tried to join, thinking that the project was just getting underway.
Trust me: Shiny don't say it.
YOu folk have managed to capture the essece of the characters perfectly. Should the impossible ever happen and Firfly flies again, there is no beter place to find the talent to continue the series than right here.
I seriously am coming to doubt what I could do as input after what I have read. To all of you who have worked on this project, I give you my thanks for last night was one of the most enjoyable late night browsing sessions I have had since stumbling across Lolcats and Demotivationsl Posters.
I look forward to reading much, much more! |

It'll be around eventually. Real life is kinda getting in everyone's way (arrgh), but new stuff is being worked on, albeit kinda slowly.
If you're an author, you might be able to help Gwek with the writing. PM him and "talk". Because of that ever-present demon known as "real life" (see above) we lost a few writers, so you might be able to take a spot on the team.
@Gwek: please don't stone me if I'm being presumptuous.
@Wash: What are you talking about? We aren't crazy. I seriously have no clue what you're talking about. *twitch* _________________

I look forward to the task. I have one book published, four others completed, and one that my co-author used to insist on my watching Firefly for the first time.
Been hitting a dry spell inspriationally and I think it might be a way to get those juices flowing again. _________________ Damn Yankess killed and ate my horse! |

Five books completed, one published? At least?!
WOW! That ROCKS!
@Gwek--How about getting this member on our team? _________________
